AM I entitled to any of my husbands pension

I am 66 and my husband had worked for the company for over 25 years and we have been married for 20 years. the company he worked for just closed and he his about to collect a huge pension. He told me that I will not see any money from his pension and I was wondering if I was entitle to any and if so can I file a claim to what i am entitled to.

It is not entirely true that you will get 50% of everything if you divorce. It is more complex than that. If you are divorced or getting a divorce you will need to seek proper legal advice. If, as suggested, you put your question in the Law section someone may well be able to advise you, but you really need to see a solicitor.

When my Mum and Dad got divorced everything was split 50/50 even though Mum had the kids. When my cousin got divorced she got 80% of everything. When Prudie divorced she got nothing...
