Identity Fraud

How can I speak to somebody who has been the victim of identity fraud? I am specifically looking for people who have had other people using their details and pretending to be them in order to get finance etc. Not people who have been the victims of credit card fraud - either stolen or where people have had their cards copied. Thank you.

i've been the victim of someone stealing my identity. This person (old flatmate) used all my ID and got 2 credit cards in my name, re-registered my car in their name and stole the rent money.. oh they were fantastic to live with !

This happened to my brother a few years ago.

He lived in my flat for a few years and then after him I had a tenant who stole old post belonging to my brother. He ran up loans totalling about �20,000 plus and got huge amounts of HP. It came to light when he was caught trying to obtain foreign currency and the police informed my brother. It took him a few years to sort everything out.
