Was this company Skynet by any chance?
what do you mean by terminating a candidate? Do you mean you had got through certain stages of the interview process?
Question Author
NO . My friend was working in the company for 7 months. They terminated him without a valid reason
No problem. They will say he was on probabation and failed. They don't have to give a reason.

not been there for 12 months ......not a leg to stand on..tribunals will not want to know !
is there a reason given? is it just that you dont agree with it, rather than no reason at all?
Question Author
The reason given was that his boss dont like him
Was this in the UK or a a company operating under UK law or is it an Indian company in India (I ask that because I recall from your earlier posts that you work in India)?
Question Author
Yes I work in India
In that case do we need someone on AB who knows all about employment law in India? You may be better looking up Indian employment law sites.
Yes, these people here are right, if you've been there less than 12 months you don't have a legal leg to stand on, I'm sorry to say.
JonnyBoy12 - the OP is talking about an employee in India. I think you may be talking about UK employment legislation?
Yes, that is right I am talking about U.K. law here, as that is where I live. Do they have an AB in India, I wonder? If so might I suggest asking this question there?
This might help, it does look different from UK arrangements http://internationalh...aw-quick-facts-india/
