I can't stand her! I've said it a million times before and I'll happily say it again. She's crap. For a start, she can't pronounce the letter U. For example, union becomes eewwnion. GGGRRRR!!!! It sounds horrible! Also, she's completely screwed without her auto cue. If of the guests says something she isn't expecting, she has no idea what to say and just goes,'uh, ok'. I actually can't stand her.

It's not the accent as a whole I don't like, just the way she pronounces U. I think she does it on purpose to emphasise her Welshness. Or maybe she knows I don't like it and does it just to annoy me.

She is a Welsh speaker and did present on S4/C (the Welsh TV station) so her Welshness is very precious to her. All the SouthWalians pronounce it the same. I have a friend who lives in the valleys and when she visits her fiance in the village, I could sit and listen to her for hours - well actually I have to cos I can't get a word in edgeways!!

I love the Welsh accent,my mother spoke it well.
I think she is far better than her predecessor.Far more natural and does,nt have the

I'm not a massive fan of hers, but I love the Welsh accent too, it probably just reminds me of good times because I used to go to Wales on holidays as a kid and go for days out now.
