One reason I don't switch on radio 2 til 9.30 am. Can't stand Chris Evans' inane chatter. Even his son is on now doing the same - poor child.

I used to like Chris Evans on the radio but he's got too much for me now. Cannot stand The One Show no matter who is presenting or even who is on - the music puts me off!!

Same here, Quizzy. If I'm watching BBC1, come 7:00 o'clock, my finger goes straight for the 'mute' button. Then I'll peruse a programme guide to see what alternatives there are to that dreadful programme.

Totally agree about the unbearable Chris Evans. His presentation of his Radio 2 show is more suited to a 'zany' childrens' programme than an adult one early in the morning. I read somewhere that he's paid around £500,000 a year for his R2 drivel, and £12,000 for EACH of The One Show - that's another half million ! I also can't stand how he goes on and on about his wife and children - we're not interested! He should listen to Ken Bruce if he wants to know how to present a good show....

Though I hate to say it, I'd rather have Chris Evans than Matt Baker. There's just something about him I can't stand, especially when he wears that salmon coloured jumper. I detest Alex Jones' 'shouty' voice and her obsession with Wales, too.
