I just walked through our lounge and Loose Women is on the TV (ug!) and all I could make out was her horrible cackly voice.

It might just be rumour but she`s famed in my place of work as being not very nice at all. Someone called her Cilla and she said "It`s Miss Black to you". She`s not the nice, friendly Cilla that she portrays on the tv.

I don't think she's funny, or entertaining.

But she is a bit of a national treasure, and I admire her for that.

Speaking as a Scouser, I have never, in my 41 years on this planet, know a Scouser who speaks like she does. Then again, she has lived in Buckinghamshire since the 60s and maybe she (wrongly) thinks that's how we speak.
