Just returned from a fab hols with the kids and the ex.. sneaky suspision that he want's more, which I'm happy to do as I'm 'comfortable' with him.. question is do I live with comfortable..or be lonely and hope a 'Burton/Taylor' flash will happen (even I'm not that much of an idiot!!) x

Do you really want a Burton/Taylor flash. They happen, but they don't last - just think of Burton and Taylor!! Personally I would go with comfortable these days, but only you know what you really want.

If you`re young then Burton/Taylor flashes have a lot going for them. When you`re older comfortable works. Maybe not at first because I think you need that passionate phase but if you have been with someone before them comfortable isn`t a bad thing. Most relationships end up comfortable (if you`re lucky)

Dont settle - I was brave enough to break from my ex cos things werent right. I have now met a lovely man who is so good for me. 100% happy I didnt settle - good luck in your decision.

You've just had a 'fab' holiday, you feel good, it's probably not the best time to make any decisions. I agree with jno, think about why you parted in the first place. Does your ex have family & do you get on with them? You'll be getting back with his whole life, not just him....I almost got back together with my ex some years ago, we're so comfortable together it surprises people, but I didn't and I made the right decision.
