When i buy Aussie hair care stuff in boots, I pay 4 for 250ml of shampoo and about the same for 200ml of conditioner.
While in canada over xmas I paid $9 which is about 4 for a giant bottle of 1.5 litres of shampoo, and $9 for 750ml of conditioner, exactly the same stuff as at home.
The canadian products were made in the US the british ones in the UK. Surely this kind of price difference can't be all due to different manufacturing costs etc?
Do we just get ripped off over here?
What really left me gobsmacked was seeing the prices of CDs in the USA when I was there a few years ago. In one shop they had a section of CDs imported from the UK and they were still cheaper than buying them in the UK!
