Did anyone watch New Tricks last night?
Did I fall asleep or did I miss the explanation as to the zoo mans blood on the floor in the flat - and why the Irish bloke murder him?

I too dozed a bit but I think that the irish bloke was a psycopath (is that the corect spelling? looks odd) Not a bad storyline. New series next year apparently - I thought it was beginning to get past its sell-by date!

I've dozed all the way through the series. I dunno, something seems to have been different and it's not as watchable as it once was. Just my opinion

I didn't doze off and wondered the same mata hati. It was never explained which was very strange.

The Irish chap (Lorcan) killed the zookeeper, chopped of two of his fingers, and then fed him to the lion.

The other two had run away and only ever heard Lorcans explanation that the Tiger just attacked the zookeeper......

thanks for answering ! Oh! I see now about the Irish bloke, he was just a bit barmy then - but the blood in the flat bit was strange wasnt it? must have cut himself shaving!

I love New Tricks, especially Alun Armstrong, think he's hilarious. Wot am I going to do on a Monday evening now?? Maybe get a life lol

I'm glad other people had trouble understanding the conclusion of monday night's episode - I honestly wondered if I'd dropped off for a moment or two (which I seem to be more prone to do at present) as the ending didn't seem to make much sense, bur now it's been explained I nearly understand it!
