how many police are there in Wetherfield nick. They seen to have more than Scotland yard. They have more police than they have shops

There is no yellow lines down the street yet it's empty,no cars parked up most the time yet there is a garage,paper shop,Dev's shop and a factory,A bar,a pub a salon and a cafy,a take away,a butchers a bookies and a load of houses! Where do they all park!!! The red reck!!!

Obviously I'm missing out. Having not seen Corrie for a few years (due to not being in the UK any longer), I was always under the impression that Wetherfield Nick only ever had a couple of police persons at any one time. I only ever saw the same ones turning up (Emma and whoever in the Curly days, a couple who came when Gail's Richard was up to his tricks etc.). Have things moved on so far that lots of police turn up nowadays?

PS - Wetherfield General also only had a few staff - has this changed as well?
