I agree with you. It seems that anything goes these days. Although you'd think that in the light of the current brouhaha at News International, they'd apply a bit of restraint.
I haven't bought a newspaper for years and am even less likely to now. Human mortality is an ever present shadow especially as one gets older and pictures of the dead, just for the sake of publishing them, are most unwelcome.
