Has anyone had a genuine super-natural experience?

I would love to believe in ghosts, as it would support my hope that there is an after life, but I have never had any experience of the super-natural.

It would be very interesting if it was true but much as I would like to believe I do not. I often know what is going to happen before it does and am not surprised when it happens but I think it is because my brain picks up on small indications and I am not psychic.

yes.. I got a visit from my Cousins little daughter just after she died aged 6... she visited me and my husband and we heard footsteps in what was her bedroom (when she stayed with us)... we both felt the air thicken.. and got goosebumps in waves up and down our bodies. then when she had gone.. we felt the air change again.
She was also SEEN by another family friend and someone else saw shadows of little feet running past bottom of a door...
Apparently when someone you love dies they have been known to go round and make visits to people in the early days after their death

I was in the pub early one evening all alone so decided to throw a few darts, when one bounced out onto the floor, as I bent down to pick it up I would swear that someone put their hand on my shoulder and I suddenly felt cold but when I straightened up there was no-one there. The pub is supposed to have a ghost but I dismissed it as probably a muscle twinge or something similar as I don't believe in such things, although I've never forgotten it.
when i we were first married my husband and i lived with his grandad and whenever i came downstairs i always felt there was someone watching me at the top, but there was no-one there.Later i found out that someone had hung themselves from the loft on the landing! My husband said it was all in my imagination 'cos he never felt anything!
Had poltergeist in my flat in North London, the pictures and ornaments would fly off the walls in one room, very disconcerting, and I found that an old man had committed suicide there years earlier. My dog howled and whined and wouldn't go in the room. I consoled myself by saying it was because I lived on the main Finchley Road and it was the traffic! Left soon after!
With regard to D97's experience. Something similar happened in the office I mentioned above, to a colleague. We were mad busy typing away when she suddenly screamed, turned round and put her hand on her shoulder and then promptly burst into tears. She said someone (or something) had just put a hand on her shoulder and squeezed! This girl was a very dour Scot and didn't suffer fools gladly and yet this reduced het to a quivering wreck.
What I mean Nosher123 is, who is to say these entities (or whatever they are called) are the spiriits of the people who have passed on. Maybe we leave more of a "presence" in our "absence". Or Maybe their are other "beings" that take advantage of the departed`s absence and nothing at all to do with the "real" person. If you see what I mean.
another time after my sister died her daughter said she couln't stop thinking about her in pain. one night i had a dream that my sister came to visit me, she was about thirty years younger than when she died, when i asked what she came for she said to see me. I asked her what she did all day and she said she watches over all her family. She said when she saw my other sister was ill she thought 'ah you b..... you'll be up here with me soon. my sister died about 1 year later. My sister who died first her daughter said that is just what her mum would say and things were easier for her after that because she knew her mum wasn't in pain anymore and happy!i think it was a message to stop her daughter worrying
