If they made a version of this show for regular people (ok, I know you might never have heard of the celebs in there now) would it still hold it's appeal?

If there was a version for the average Joe, would you apply for it?

not in a million years,but I think part of the shows appeal is watching these so called celebrities willing to almost anything in a bid to reignite their careers,it just wouldnt be the same with the average joe.
Not on your nelly. I can't even watch them doing the trials....pukey lukey...

I duno. I think there is a morbid fascination in watching anybody put through terrifying experiences.

I know I'd have no chance of the eating tasks but I think it would be interesting to see if I could make myself go through some of the others.
Well, it was a bunch of nobodies in Big Brother and people still watched that.
I think it would work - they should put the last BB contestants in the jungle that'd sort 'em out.
Not a chance, imagine me in the food trials and as for spiders, cant watch those ones without freaking
Count me out, I know my limitations.

can anyone remember the programme that used to be on about 10 years ago like it with non celebs
There was one done with some "ordinary" Aussies in it.
