10 Answers
hi everyone, im with orange on a 18 month contract and i hate hate hate my phone, i feel like im being robbed with the package that ive got and i so want to get out of contract. Can i? Im getting billed a different amount every month when its meant to be £24, the signal is absolute rubbish where i am (was point blank lied to by sales person), cant get internet connection, and the phone is crap in general compared to others, friends are shocked at what im paying for what ive got. Anyone cancelled contract before?

That will tell you whether there are penalties for coming out early. I'd suggest you go back to the shop, stating all the above to the manager (not a sales person) - if you were mis-sold, they might reconsider. You can always check the signal coverage yourself before changing provider http://search.orange..../coveragechecker.html
Why not see if they will change your phone for a fee, rather than cancelling your contract totally.
They may be willing to sell you a new phone rather than lose you as a customer.
After all it seems it is only the phone you dont like rather than Orange itself.
And I realise that having a phone you hate must be one of the worst things in the world.
