A brand new series called Come Date With Me replaces Four In A Bed on Channel 4 at 5.00PM tonight. As the narrator is the excellent Dave Lamb it may be worth a look.

It sounds like a couple of mates set out to go dating together, that sounds very normal. but maybe they're going to compete against each other in getting a date. Bizarre format and verging on the desperate but we'll watch anyway!

Gingejbee, there was a programme on ITV1 recently called Dinner Date and the narrator was a woman who used really awful "Carry On" asides, only worse. She ruined the programme and it made one realise just how good Dave Lamb is and how he improves CDWM.

It wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It might be more interesting if she had individual meals with those left after the first night, but it looks like it's group meals every night. Don't think I'll bother with the rest of it!

Dave Lamb makes watching these shows worthwhile, but I still love Come Dine with Me anyway.
