....Kirsty,you are one bad mother, and a perfect representatative of the Weatherfield Police.Has any police force ever behaved so obnoxiously,so unrealistically,so unsimpathetically, so uncompromisingly,so unhelpful to the public over the years.Btw Kirsty I don't know the actress playing you, but she's good ,very good...very believable, for an actor thats praise indeed

The story line they have introduced here is excellent. Depicting a man as the victim of this type of abuse is very different to what is normally shown in soaps
I don't think it is indicative of the police force at all but Kirsty could have been in any profession/job and still be the scary eyed control freak that she is

Many years ago a friend worked on the docks. He was visited, at home, by the local police about goods being stolen from the docks.
The policemen were wearing shoes which he recognised as being 'borrowed' from the ships a few weeks before!!
NOTE: he was honest and didnt deal in any of these goods but knew what was going on
