Just been talking about this at work-it was hilarious.
I think i'm the only person not to find this funny...
Is the old woman a man in drag? I honestly wasn't sure.
Yes indeed very funny, one of the only comedies to make you laugh out loud. How funny was Winnie's organism ;-)
Have watched loads of them. There is a new series being made. It is hilarious. Should be on for an hour.

ludwig..... yes.
Damn - missed it. Will have to catch up. Good old fashioned belly laugh material in my opinion.

Ludwig - the lady that plays his daughter is actually his real life wife and I believe there are other family members in the cast too.
Just realised I have missed two episodes!!
It's very rare to see my oh laugh out laugh out loud if at all.
erin-x,
it appears we are in a minority of two...
im avoiding watching the series (have sky+ed them) until Ive seen the stage show in June, as last year a lot of stage show was in the first series. Thats not to say it wasnt a great show though, which is why we are off to the new one :)
first time I watched it ..funny for a bit but thought it became tedious and predictable and they were trying for laughs too too hard...
Two minutes of this is enough for me.
make that a minority of 3
I have grown to love this show, hilarious and silly, just what I need.
Many of the main cast is played by O'Carroll's family. For example, Cathy Brown is played by his wife, Winnie McGoogan by his sister, Maria Nicholson by his daughter, Buster Brady by his son and Betty Brown by his daughter-in-law.[2] The character of Dermot, is played by the actor who was also a very close family friend, and regarded very much as his real life adopted son.

erin, you're not alone - I find it dire, completely unfunny.
Me too. Reminds me of Danny La Rue, Old Ma Kettle and all the other blokes who think putting on a skirt is hilarious. It's dated, unwitty, and I hate swearing, it's a lazy way to get laughs. What's wrong with wit?
I thought last nights episode was a repeat.
