Hiya and thanks for asking after me - didn't think it quite right to post on Chrissa's thread about poor Charlie.
Anyway - things not too bad here, son keeping his nose clean at the moment although I live in dread at the thought of him slipping back into his old ways. If only he could get a job I'm sure it would help. I've had 2 nieces in hospital over the last two weeks with meningitis, one is on the road to recovery but the other has had a stroke and is very poorly so I'm really worried about her. All one can think is there are folk worse off than us. Hope all is well with you xxx

Thank you so much for your kindness, it really does help in these difficult times. I'm not too bad ta, doc's still can't find out what the problem is but in the meantime I keep taking the tablets and worrying about all the others. Nieces are 17 (the one that's on the mend) and 39 (the one who is thought to have had a stroke) she has 2 little girls who haven't seen their mummy for over a week now. She's been told she will get better but they're not sure if she will be 'good as new' The two patients are cousins but haven't seen each other for months, just a coincidence that they both got the meningitis bug at the same time and ended up in the same hospital.
