Watching Coach Trip two Public School educated contestants didn't know where Kidderminster or Herne bay was obviously geography isn't on their cirriculum.

Apart from the Broadwaters estate..That's as rough as a badgers bottom
:-S
are you from Wolverhamton Mighty?
That reminds me of a few years back when I worked in HR and a young colleague was getting married and going on honeymoon to Tenerife. We have a policy that you have to inform HR if travelling to certain countries 'on the list'. His friends persuaded me to write a formal letter advising him that as Tenerife was a communist country he had to let us know. I thought it too ridiculous a joke that no-one would fall for but he actually took it in all seriousness. Unbelievable.
I'll ignore that remark Mr Beejay I'd have trouble typing with a cloven hoof.
so MaryT - Im guessing you can pinpoint every city and town on a map of the British Isles

I bet they could spell Curriculum though...obviously spelling wasn't on yours
I'm not mary, jack, but I've got a pretty good idea where most of them are - the general region, if not exactly.
Hear,hear mightybaggie.

There was a young lady from Gloucester (pronounced Gloster)
Whose parents thought they had lost her
What they found in the grass
Were the marks of her a*se
And the knees of the bloke who had crossed her.

Ron. (spinster of this parish)
I went Kidderminster once. It was open.
I grew up not that far from Kidderminster so knew that but wouldn't have known where Herne Bay was. I remember being asked, when living in Leeds and mentioning getting the train back home to Shrewsbury being frequently asked if I had to go via London.

I don't expect people to know where it is though. I was surprised though when I wasi n California that people there had heard of Shropshire, the most common reply to saying where I'm from I got though was randomly about sheep!

A random one was in a Starbucks in Toronto. The nice guy serving me asked if he could try and guess where I was from from my accent and guessed West Midlands. I was so impressed considering I've not lived there for about 15 years and lived in a number of other places with far stronger accents and never had a strong accent anyway!
LOL at bejay accusing WBA of being a Dingle.
