Potatoes which are sold as 'jacket potatoes' are often packed in packs of four spuds, weighing a total of 750g. (I buy a lot of them!). So that means that each jacket potato weighs a bit under 200g. Based upon that, I'd reckon that a 'medium' potato might be somewhere around 120g.
sorry - that was a surprise. you are very knowledgable but now i have a mental image of you in sandals and socks, cords, a ratty shirt and a sleeveless jumper. and wild hair. or perhaps i am being influenced by your avatar? ;o)
Well I usually claim to be sitting here stark naked but the reality is jeans, a sweatshirt and a cardigan (with some unusually trendy shoes by my standards!).
I'm actually living life backwards. At college I always wore a collar and tie, with a sports jacket. (I wouldn't have been seen dead in jeans, which is what all the other students wore). These days it's jeans and whatever's warm & comfy!
