Formula 1 motor racing is no more ...

Just realised why Hubby is depressed - the races apparently are not being shown on mainstream TV this season - just on SkySports which means an extra costly subscription which we can''t afford (we have Sky but only the basic package as we hardly watch anything) Is this right folks? He is gutted .... but I get my Sunday afternoons back :))

Thanks to you all for the info - I have printed it all off for him ...... he thought he wouldn't be able to see any so its cheered him up a bit :) Apparently he said they announced it was being done "to protect their Wimbledon coverage - shown on two channels BBC1 and BBC2" - as we hate Wimbledon fortnight and avoid it at all costs (every one to his own I suppose) THAT announcement really wound him up!!

It is only free if you have sky HD for this year , I bet 1,000 to 1 they will charge extra for the Sky Sports F1 channel next year ! And it is £10 A MONTH not just a one off £10 to upgrade to Sky HD so that is an extra £120 a year, I have Virgin media HD with sky sports included anyone know if this will get F1 ?
