A friend of ours was driving through from West Germany to to West Berlin through the corridor, it was very foggy and he got lost but saw another car with a BAOR number plate, it was quite a while ago, and decided to follow him. After three hours the other car stopped and flagged him down. Are you going to West Berlin? When friend said Yes, other man said, I'm afraid I'm going to Warsaw! It was in the days of East and West, when getting through to West Berlin was quite an adventure.
