Got heartily sick of the final with Jeremy Paxman giving his preferred team (Manchester) longer to answer their questions. What an irritating captain they had, he really got on my nerves with his affected manner!

I watched the team throughout the series and I thought he was the one really helped win it as the team very often guessed the right answer. The Pembroke College team leader just sat there and let the guy with Tourettes answer the questions, there was no teamwork at all.
I agree with carolegif .That young lad on the Pembroke team was very good .
His knowledge of composers was brilliant .Without him Pembroke would never had caught up as much as they did .
It was a good final .I thought Tristan Burke played a blinder.
Camilla was the icing on the cake .She was very nice to them all.

it's funny you should say that, because I thought that he speeded up towards the end, when it was possible for Pembroke to catch up, so that he could get more questions in for them! I didn't feel he preferred Manchester at all. It's strange how we get different reactions to the same programme, isn't it.
