what is funny about Absolutely Fabulous? It has never made me laugh. All I can see is bad acting, a crass script, and adults showing off like spoilt brats

I get that part of it Howard, but I think it is very weakly scripted, the acting is poor and the jokes are puerile. In my opinion.

The cast is is good they carry the script beautifully.

I agree with JJ, as a parody and using idiosyncrasies it is funny. I only saw a bit of tonight's show, but it did make me laugh.

I missed it today, I would have watched it. It is just a send up of the rich ladies who lunch and their extravagances. I like to watch Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders, Jane Horrocks is a good actress but she is annoying in this programme.

I love it when actors are older, and they are happy to play absurd characters, and not take themselves seriously (I'm thinking of JL, in particular). Roger Moore is like that. Terrible actor, who is no longer taking himself seriously, and I love him for that.

Ab Fab is absolutely fabulous. Love it. Within 2 minutes of watching the first ever episode I knew I was going to love it. Oh yea, except for Jane Horrocks, sorry can't stand her voice.
Excuse me but Amy Winehouse is on BBC4 for anyone interested. New stuff from Dingle in Ireland.

Wasn't as Fab as I thought it might be,quite crude in parts especially with the sex addict references, should have dealt more with the Olympic theme. I think Patsy and Edina are past their sell by date

But Yes Minister was subtle and very funny.

I have seen the adverts on BBC for the latest Ab Fab show and it looked embarrassingly awful.
