A Love Divided

I watched a film last night on BBC2 called 'A Love Divided'. It was based on a true story and at the end of the film it said what happened to the family afterwards, however it was too quick for me to read! If anyone has seen the film and knows what it said I would really like to know, thanks!

I can't remember everything it says, but I can recall that it states that about 40 years after, the Catholic Church issued an apology to the town for the destruction caused by the church.
