He left two episodes ago, wanted to retire, do miss him not the same without him but apparently there will be someone taking his place.

Denis Lawson is lovely, i reckon that James Bolam was overdue for retirement. Good actor, and loved him in When the boat comes in.

Dennis Lawson has been in many productions, not least Star Wars, neat considering his nephew then became the young Obi Wan Kenobi.

no, i read that he has stopped them showing reruns of the likely lads, or that was from Rodney Bewes, not sure the reason why.
