I recieve P/C and since I fractured my hip 3 months ago and have ongoing damaged nerves to my leg. I also having been getting attendace allowance the past 6 weeks. .
I had a letter the other day from P/Credit saying I could be getting more due to my continued disabillity and enclosed a simple form to fill in.
Pension credit is paid to 'top up' your pension to the minimum requirement where contributions alone do not cover it- therefore it is an ongoing benefit and unless something drastic changes like winning the lottery should not stop in all likelihood, so no there is ' no limit' as such- it depends on circumstances. Attendence Allowance is paid after retirement age where someone is ill or disabled in some way- there are 2 rates dependent upon how serious the issue is- and again it can be for a set period or ongoing. Fill the form in describing your problem at it's worst on a daily basis and take it from there.
