I know this drama is not a repeat, but I am positive I have seen it before. I remember the well in the cellar befor it appeared, I remember the 'drowned' children, and I remember the wet footprints up the cellar steps. Has anyone else seen a similar version of it?

Maybe you read the book!
Not been done before...written just a few years ago by James Herbert author of The Rats, the Fog, and The Survivor.

Saw Part 1 last week...missed last nights but gonna watch it On Demand with Mrs Bear later....lights out.....she'll probably grab my hair, as usual in a scary bit.
I have never read the book but last week when it started the whole thing seemed very very familiar, maybe someone else did a film based on the same plot , I was convinced I had seen it all before also.
I loved it, can't wait for the final part.
Same here-never read the book, but am sure I have seen something almost identical.
I said the same last week, neither OH or myself have read book but it all seems very familiar.
There was that Japanese film 'The Ring'
I'm sure that had a well and a child that crawled from it and came through the television set. Really scary, that was.
May be "The Others" with Nicole Kidman ...that was a spooky film.
I don't find it creepy (I don't watch creepy stuff), just a bit sad with the boy still being missing (and him and his mam having that 'connection').
Mrs B's almost ready for Part two On Demand.....she's just put some popcorn in......:0)

I Think that it may have been a film with almost the same plot now that two of you are agreeing with me. I hope if anyone finds out for sure they will let me know as its driving me up the wall thinking about it.
It reminds me of two scary movies, The Changeling (starring George C Scott) and Don't Look Now.
What I don't understand is why the caretaker has got the dog. Can anyone explain?
i've been enjoying this programme but they totally spoilt it by showing whats happening in the next episode
You have to be quick with the 'stop' button.
not seen it before or read the book but its v good. Dont you just love little Stefan ,poor wee chap
What about the dog?
I've read ALL the James Herbert books and this is not one of the scariest ones.
I'm loving it, think he took the dog so it wouldn't get hurt -maybe??
I thought it was becuase the dog could sense the ghosts and didn't like it there
