I didn't see it first time round, is it good?
Thanks RR - I hadn't spotted that (we must watch an awful lot of the same programmes!).
Mrs B will be pleased, thank's for the info.

Boxtops, it's fab, you could probably pick it up, every episode is different with a story going on in the background.

I think so Sherr, we definitely wouldn't fight over the remote that's for sure, are you going to watch that new series The Following, with Kevin Bacon? It looks very good.

You're welcome Baz.
I hadn't spotted it but I will set it to tape and see how it goes.
Thank you. Probably would have missed otherwise. Will set record in case I forget! Love it.
Thanks for that rocky... Had not seen any adverts. Love The Good Wife! Been waiting for it to return.

We can all have a good bone picking session after we've watched it, can't wait. What happened at the end of the last series, I remember Kalinda seems to be in trouble, with her ex husband.
saw it advertised last night, looking forward to it
Wasn't Kalinda sitting in a chair, with a gun, waiting for her front door to open??
Actually, thinking back, i was confused with the whole Kalinda thing! Who was after her? Was it the black guy who did business with the law firm, i think he is a gangster type?? or was it to do with her past... she had changed her name and had left behind a husband I seem to remember?!
Question Author
Yep, something to do with husband, I think she robbed him of some money and reinvented herself. I sometimes wonder if I get programmes mixed up though :0)
she was sitting waiting for her husband, guns in hand
boxtops - like a lot of superior US dramas, you need to know what has happened n previous series in order to fully enjoy this one - which I think is series three.

Unlike UK dramas, the US writers presume a level of inteligence on the part of their audiences, and they expect you not only to have paid attention, but to keep up as they go along. They will refer back to previous events and and characters, and you are simply expected to know and remember the references because you have ben watching , paying attention, and have a reasonable memory span.

That's why I love dramas like this so much - I was educated with Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue who's writers always did this - bringing back characters from even a few series ago, and knowing that they don't need to re-run the background, you simply know who they are and where they fit.

So my advice is to bone up on the first twpo series, and then watch this one, you'll enjoy it more.

Oh, and remember, the second series of Suits starts this week on Dave - life is good!!
Thank you - if I get a chance this Thursday, I'll watch
