Anyone still keeping up with it?
Lasts nights was pretty emotional. I think it was obvious Jacks crime was going to be something far more innocent than everyone speculated but I wonder if he killed himself through grief/fear or because he knew more about Dannys death. I think the former. It's nearing the end now so they'll be starting to narrow down the suspects.

It was a plot device that didn't work for me because he would have been desperate to prove his heterosexuality, and the police would have found out details on the crime anyway.
I'm not sure why some people are raving about this programme. It seems pretty run of the mill to me.

Anne, it's probably on ITV player.
The story does seem badly plotted to me. For example the police seemed to wait for Jack to tell them what happened. Can't say I know much about criminal stuff but if he'd been locked up for something then surely they would be able to access records of his crime very quickly.
I'm sort of sucked in now so will stick with it as I want to find out who did it and why but there's so many different plot lines it does get a bit confusing.

I keep watching but my mind does trail off. Yes Pauline Quirk is good at being evil. I assumed that the old man killed himself over his grief for his son, having read the headlines again and it all coming back to him. I cannot understand much of what David Tennant says. Is it all going to be a damp squib at the end?
