Does anyone else find that rawhide chews sometimes leave behind white marks on the carpet? And if so, do you have any handy tips for removing it?

I used to get a very sharp knife/razor blade and go round and tease the stuck residue off the nap of the carpet so as not to damage the fibre too much...its tedious.

Oh boy I was asking for it wasn't I?!

I have done something similar before Purple_Popple. It surely is tedious. Maybe someone will come back to us with a brilliantly simple but effective top tip . . .

Yes, dreadful stuff, we never feed it to the dogs, you cant beat a nice chunk of fresh trachea.
