it's just that these shows are really tightly scripted and they don't waste dialogue and out of the blue in passing they've mentioned her dad's 2 brothers tonight, there must be a reason for that.
I feel sorry for Anna her adopted mother, Faye is an ungrateful difficult child but she does have an identify situation, her "dad" is not totally convincing with his feelings towards her.
I thought of fostering some years ago and went to classes for about 2 months but took ill and it all fell through. I do have a neighbour who has been fostering for years - when I look at this little girl Faye I realise I could not have done it successfully - too much responsibility with little feedback. I know for a fact that no matter how much the foster parent does - the little ones really crave for their own bloodline.
I had taped corrie - monday nights are my voluntary work night - but when I saw it at 10 pm I am worried that her dad is/is not really her dad and for the want of a better word - would they show that he is in fact a bit of a paedophile. It didn't look good to me when he got under the duvet with a little girl he hardly knows! Hope nobody is offended with my remark.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Social Services check him out when he first came on the scene? I seem to recall the lady from the Social Services telling Anna he had a right to see his daughter (or words to that effect).
Yes, Social Services did check him out, that's why Anna feels so powerless. He seems really creepy, I'm sure it will all end in tears! What a little madam Faye is !!
yes but if they checked him out in the name of her dad but didn't confirm his identity then they may have made a mistake, he could well be one of the brothers.
