The most ridiculous thing this week on Emmerdale, and there have been many as usual, was the warning before Wednesday night's episode that it contained talking about medical procedures. All it was about was Brenda's head being cut open. Are we becoming a nanny state? It's a soap for heaven's sake, non of it's real.

Next they'll give warnings if there is fighting, shouting, drinking, snogging -or worse, not forgetting murder.

What was repulsive this week, and we got no warning, was Andy snogging Amy.
