Not quite the explosive ending I was hoping for. Bit of a let down .After the credits it did say Broadchurch will return so maybe this isn't the end .

Really disappointed with that ending, it could have been so much more. Acting top notch though, Olivia Coleman was excellent.

She was good, yeah. Some of the others were naff though.

He said he gave Danny the£500 to make him love him. No idea about the drugs, or what the deal was with Pauline quirks character or why the plumber guy had that cross bow or why he was lying in his van. Or the point of will mellors character. Or the postman. Or who set the boat on fire.

And some access to the rest of the police database so they don't just have to sit around waiting for ex cons to tell them what they did.

and a half decent police force that don;t allow members of the victim's family unsuoervised access to the prison cells to speak to the murderer, never seen anything so bizarre, and detectives who allow family members of the murderer into an interview room (where there is CCTV) and let the family member kick seven bells out of the uncharged suspect!
