For a long time now, I've been saying that at 61 I'm too young to listen to Radio 2,
OH has been telling me I'm missing some good music etc. for the same length of time, so
I tuned in for the 10:00 news, so far, so good, then
on came Graham Norton!

It's going to take a while before I pluck up the courage to go there again!

Can't stand him.
I trust you mean Graham Norton, elliemay.

Sorry for my Brian Matthew diversion, Baldric
sorry Connemmara, only just come back on here, glad you got your answer though. It is worth getting up early for, Brian Matthews has a lovely velvety voice and has passion for what he plays - long may he and Sounds of the 60s be on R2 :)
Radio Two is like any other media - you need to be selective.

I avoid Graham Norton, and I am still, even now, furious that Radcliffe and Maconie were shifted out to make way for Jo Whiley - but there is plenty to enjoy.

Chris Evans is great at breakfast - a real kick up the bottom for all those Woganites who thought the Irish buffoon was irreplacable.

Oh I must admit although I am 72 I do kinda like him but don't listen too long
I re-found Radio 2 in the daytime a while back - excellent, and I know most of the words!
