This week I'm really concentrating but I still don't have the foggiest what's going on and who people are (apart from there's a girl missing of course).
So who is understanding it?
I found it reasonably straight-forward but its as much about the female police officer returning to her home town she left many years ago as it is about the missing girl. The series almost has the feel of being a second series where we were introduced to the characters in series 1.
Very disappointing ending (imho) so don't expect too much from this!
Ok Matt has clarified she's back in her home town so that's why she knows all the guys in the bar? yes the sex woman, who was the guy - one of the sons? Why's there been no more about the drowned estate agent from last week? Who's the guy that gave her a quickie last night? an ex? The leader of the woman (that is weird) - knew I recognised her, it's Holly Hunter.
Who do you reckon the father of the baby is? her dad maybe?
Far too enigmatic and lots of shots of the scenery - lovely yes but we don't need to see the hills every couple of minutes. I doubt if I will keep watching.
I really struggled with it, but kept going until the end. I don't think I will bother any more though. The woman who had the sex for 7 minutes was from the ladies in the trailers and her daughter has just turned up. How did the husband know GJ (or whatever she's called)? Is the police boss corrupt - did he tell the father about the paedophile so they would go over and kill him? It was so full of half hints, I really can't face it again. Lovely scenery though, I agree!
I'm quite enjoying it. Makes a change from the usual sugary dramas we have been subjected to of late. We've only seen 2 of 6, so I'm sure each of the character's stories will start to unfold as we go on.
The guy she had a quickie with is her ex, and another one of Matt's sons. He doesn't get on with his family and has been in prison.
I don't remember how I knew helly, i just watched it. But i did google it to check my facts before I posted in case I was wrong! It said on the website that he had been inside, but the rest i worked out from the programme.
