on bbc1 about 3-4 months ago there was a film about bruce lee. It showed him getting in trouble in china then moving to america, then starting up his own buisness also getting married. In his dreams he was fighting a warlock please can u help me thank you

Film is called 'Dragon'.   Its the Bruce Lee story and it came out about 10 or 12 years ago

The beeb had the dragon on and another one which was a vehicle filling in on various less written up episodes.

I was sorry they didnt give due weight to the fact that Lee died from snorting too much of the white stuff - and as a dope fiend was not a good role model at all - although everyone attested to how he loved his mum.

Peter Pedant, have you any evidence to suggest Bruce Lee snorted cocaine? I have never heard this, and as a bit of a fan have always believed he was a health fanatic who died from a bad reaction to a painkiller he took because he was suffering from bad headaches. Nipsta, in my opinion 'Dragon' is'nt a great film. It makes out that Bruce hurt his back from a fight he was involved in(Sacrilige). As far as i understand it, he hurt it in training. All those who knew him have never (as far as i am aware) ever said they ever saw him lose a fight. But i am just a casual fan, not a fanatic. Any Bruce Lee experts out there, what do you think?

Im not 100% sure either but i do remember a documentary about him that suggested that he in fact died from a very rare allergy to smoking dope which he had just started to do because a lady friend of his was into that and he had heard that it would ease his back problems ? and the painkiller story was to cover up the drug taking and not to shame his family etc but i have never ever heard anything about him being a Coke fiend? Its hard to know what is true and what isnt i guess. Either way it is a great shame that he is gone a pure legend in my book.
