However......... why is the laughter so loud - not just on this show, but on every show lately? It drowns out half of what's being said.

I do like the programme too and the guests make or break it.

Did they intentionally edit out John Prescott I wonder? ! it takes a while to get that half hour so those will have been the best bits! It must be hard to produce if it isn't working between the 3 guests on the day or one is taking over and another doesn't speak or gags are in all the wrong places and they cant cover them.

Jo Brand did make a "weight" jibe at Prescott; he laughed it off but I really didn't like that & she let herself down. That guy that used to chair it in the past and had to leave the prog. was great (imo) and it was a shame he left.
He was so talented and he was made for the programme - outstanding - I've fotgotten his name - guest chairs have been OK but I still preferred that guy to all of them.

Only stuck it out for about 5 minutes - Jo Brand (gets everywhere) John Prescott (can't stand the man) but worse was Giles Brandreth - he never shut up and was quite nasty to Ian. Better host and guests needed I think!

The worst episode ever was the one with Russell Brand in. It was years ago and he behaved terribly, even pretending (at least I hope he was) to have a piss on set. Thankfully he's never been invited back.

did watch some, do like the show, however i loathe John Prescott, why is he ever on this show, a butt of jokes, but he said very little, at least anything of note.

Paul Merton has not been his usual self on HIGNFY for some time now, he seems to be in a world of his own, and seems to depend on his facial expressions rather than his voice.

Jo Brand was her usual disgusting self with her use of the 'F' word, I didn't care for Prescott when he was in government, but although he didn't say mush on this particular show, he can be quite amusing at times and generally has a certain humours personality.
