I Think I Know The Answer But I'd Like Clarification...

....I'm looking to replace my TV and DVD. I'm leaning toward a non-smart TV..(Samsung f5000)....coupled with a Smart Blu-Ray Disc player which is 3D.
My question is ....is the 3D facility on or off by default.

The DVD needs to be a 3d DVD for it to display in 3d
