I think its a good reflection of the original books in terms of Holmes' behaviour and his relationship with Mycroft. I think its a reflection of how much Holmes likes Watson rather than cruelty. yes he has got a funny way of showing it. The other thing that wasn't pointed out was that not telling Watson that he was alive was also protecting Watson from the Moriarty network. If he has no secrets, he can't be tortured for them.
I'm afraid I fell asleep about 22:10, so I am not sure exactly how it turned out. Although, even if I had stayed awake, I'm not sure I would have understood it any better....it was terribly complicated.
If anybody could sum up the plot, I would be very much obliged !
Two mistakes I thought
1 pitting it against the darts final - I had to keep flicking to see the score
2 it said it was two years since the last one - no way
As Dr John says..."he comes back into my life which means I find myself being attacked, kidnapped and stuck in a bonfire. We still don't know why that happened. It had nothing to do with the terrorist plot. It was terrifying though. One of the scariest moments of my life."
Thanks Frank97....I do enjoys these kinds of programs and the main actors are always a pleasure to watch. But just the teensiest bit less complicated would go amiss !
I loved it; I don't like very much on TV (hence why we don't have a working one) but when I do find something I enjoy I get pretty over excited about it; I'm really pleased this is back on :c)
it said it was two years since the last one
I didn't think that was right either,
From Wiki
"A Scandal in Belgravia", written by Steven Moffat and directed by Paul McGuigan, was first broadcast on 1 January 2012"
So it was almost two years.
hellywelly - have you been tested by mensa under proper circumstances?
or did you take one of those free tests mensa give out designed to make you think you are extremely clever and therefore tempt you to take the paid test at one of their centres...only to show the actual result is likely just average?
