Problem With Bt Email
26 Answers
My email address is @binternet.com. I used to have to sign in every two weeks or so, but now i have to sign in every time I switch the computer on. I rang BT a few days ago and was told there is a problem that they are trying to rectify. At least I think that's what the lady said- I have an idea the helpline is based in India.
No-one else has posted that they are having problems, so is it just me? BT have changed something on email as it used to come through Yahoo but doesn't now I think.
Any advice/thoughts appreciated.

Everyone with a btinternet. com email address, me included, has moaned about the inability for the new email system to remember your log in details. The problem has been raised many times in the BT Care Community Forum. This is their reply:- https:// community. bt. com/ t5/ Other- BB- Queries/ The- new- BT- home- page/ td- p/ 1100696

Mikey, I don't mind having to sign in each time, but a) my choice of browser is just that and it is bt that has the problem with chrome not me and b) each time I open ie and then each time I click anything to go browsing the content advisor also asks for a password and I have tried without any success to delete this content advisor and it does not appear to be possible, hence my favourable view of chrome

Gness, hello. No change at all. I thought I would just give it time after reading the link that Dodger sent. It is a nuisance, though, as it doesn't remember me and I have to type the whole thing every time. I have found, however, that if I don't clear my screen (keep my email in one of the links at the top), that I don't have to do it. If I click on the red cross at the top right hand corner, then I have to sign in again, so I'm careful not to do that. Such problems we have to face!!
