I spent a New Years Day very hungover watching every episode of Bagpuss on video.

I was so surprised that there were only 13 made.

Loved it, the mice, professor yaffle the woodpecker the ragdoll everything.

I remember running home from infant school to watch it at lunchtime

My daughter loved Bagpuss and Professor Yaffle. Didn't know a yaffle was an old word for a woodpecker. Said daughter has a small stuffed bagpuss toy in the front of her car.

My favourite episode was the chocolate biscuit 'machine', they were made from butter beans and something else.

The mice were canny little devils as there were only two biscuits!

I used to look after my sisters kid and we loved watching Bagpuss.I bought her a bagpuss for her birthday and she's still got it and when ever her granddaughter visits she makes a bee line for it.
