I have never been a big fan of american tv, but have got to admit that I like 'Lost'.  It is throwing up alot of questions at the moment though isn't it?  So many that you forget, i.e. The message on the walkie talkie thing, the polar bear, the dinosaur thing, the 'murderer' woman, the man standing on the beach etc. etc.  I hope it is all going to make sense in the end and not just finish without any answers.  I will be really p*ssed off if it does - especially as it is meant to go on for 26 weeks!!

yeah its getting really good man last night i watched the two episodes but it still wasnt enough , i hate having to wait until next week. was reading in the paper yesterday that they are now showing series 2 in america and they have enough plotlines for 8 years worth of the show.
I hope that doesn't mean there are no answers then.  8 years stuck on a desert island!  All the men will have really long beards, and the women will be really hairy too.  It might not be that pleasant to watch then!  At least that fat bloke will slim down.  Seriously though, I do like it, I just don't want it to drag on and on and become crap - you know?
Anyone know if all the 'creatures' turn out to be polar bears?, how did they get there?
I am intrigued.  I thought the walkie talkie message was v.sinister.  I am relying on terrestrial TV so infuriated by having to wait a week between episodes.  Does the pregnant woman deliver soon? I'm getting quite irritated by how fake her bump looks.  I bet they all mysteriously manage to remain groomed and same size they were when they landed...
Oh i love the programme am really getting into it.  I stumbled across the first episode by mistake and then couldnt stop watching.  Yeah its a bit weird and creepy and you never know whats gonna happen and it shows everyones story and in the first episode when it turned out the girl was the criminal in handcuffs that was a bit of a turn!  Well i too have to wait a week for each episode as i do not have E4 but oh well i look forward to Wednesday nights now.

i love it so far. my mind is going overtime trying to work out what everyone's 'story' is. Brilliant.

was tempted to watch the next episode on e4 after last nights one but decided to save it for next wednesday so i have something to look forward to. Not like me to show such willpower!

I'm struggling to wait for the next episode (don't have E4 so have to wait till next wednesday). Tempted to buy it on DVD when it comes out (Sept 6th for Region 1) so I won't have to wait 24 weeks!
can i just say im with hendrix55 i thought i was the only one that was getting annoyed by the fakeness of her bump.
..I watched episode 4 last night ...oooh it's a good un!... I have never liked American drama,(with the exception of season 1 and 2 of 6 feet under)  but  I'm hooked!..though I did read somewhere that it does end with many answers still to be revealed...

Episode 1 and 2 were good, episode 3 was ok, but episode 4 rocked big time!!!

Yes they have started season 2 in america and the quote about 8 years worth comes from the lead character who is the doctor, he reckons that the sciptwriters have so many characters that they can delve into the personalities off it is like a long running soap opera and he remarked that he was in party of 5 with 5 characters in a house for many years, he has watched Friends showing 6 characters in an apartment complex and coffee shop run for 10 years. so what potential does a show with the location the size of a mystery island that has 48 characters in it and elements of sci-fi, horror, drama, comedy, mystery, action and suspense mixed into it. I think that by the end of the first season, answers will be appearing for questions we need answers to, but these answers will cause further questions. Such as the Polar Bear, we waited too see what attacked the group, got the answer it was a polar bear but the new questions were, what is a polar bear doing in a tropical island? I think it will run like this throughout, tempting us to solutions to the mystery but revealing only parts of it to the viewer in a way that it throws up whole knew questions.

All i can say is that i watched Lost ep 4 last night and i was buzzing so much after watching it with how brilliant it was i couldnt sleep for an hour trying to make sense of it.

Am absolutely loving it! I've watched the first 3 episodes 3 times now,cos we had to tape it for someone, and you always seem to notice something new everytime.Last night's episode on e4 had another great twist and reveal, and my husband and I were just left going "wow"! With this and "without  a trace" back on,tv's good again.
We are on about episode 13 in Ireland K99 and we have a double episode next Monday - yippee.  I love it.  It gives you a little bit each week but still leaves enough mystery to keep you interested - I think that is the secret.
