BBC - NEVER Adrian Chiles.
Actors in the adverts...
If it wasn't for the adverts, I would!
Not me...or BBC, either.
Adrian Chiles is FAR FAR worse than the adverts!
I think he's alright, the stick he gets is way over the top.
I want to know why it's on both channels? Is it really necessary.
Not an Adrian Chiles fan, even less of a fan of Clive Tildseley and Andy Townsend, so it'll be Auntie for me. What's more, uninterrupted coverage.

Hope Germany win, and win well.
I'm watching on BBC but you're right Jeza, it really doesn't need to be on both sides.
Why is it on both sides? Seems a little overkill?
BBC on !!
apparently they shared all the games so both able to show the final
Isn't it obvious why it's on both BBC and ITV? It's the final of a major competition that both have been covering. Why wouldn't both want to show it?
Definitely the Beeb
Gingibee, how many people will simultaneously watch it on both sides? It shouldn't be about them, but choices for viewers- bearing in mind most people don't watch it.
The game started at 3pm here, and since it's 8:10pm over there it must be over, so can you tell me the final score so that I don't have to watch it?
Both channels paid FIFA megabucks (of our licence fee in the case of the BBC) for the privilege of showing most games, but especially the final. There would have been complaints had England reached the final (some hope !) and the game not been shown.
I'm not objecting to it being shown once. But twice-at the same time?
Pixie: nobody will watch it on BOTH channels...but WILL have an opportunity to choose...just what you wanted.....choice. And, of course, you can choose to not watch it at all (like me) or choose one of the many other channels. I can't see what the problem is....given that they've both been covering the competition.
It's the same match. How about some more choices of "not football" for the majority?
