Lost-I don't understand!!!

I have been following this series but don't understand why the plane wasn't showing up on some air traffic control?I know they lost their radio but surely that wouldn't affect them being tracked??It is relly annoying me!

I don't think they can be tracked if they are not emitting a signal.  In episode 2 someone said that they should still be found using satellites, but Said said no as they are so far off course the people trying to find them would not be pointing the satellite in the right direction.  Also the magic monster or whatever it is probably blocks all the signals...

But then if they could be found they wouldn't be "Lost" would they.  Only another 20-odd episodes to go....

They may not be "lost" in this world where there are tracking devices. I don't think you're mean't to understand everything at this point in the show, it should all come together by the end of the show and make some sense.

How many episodes are there? I do hope it's not one of those where there are lots of loose ends-just in time for the second series!!

It's probably all some big psychological experiment in a matrix-like virtual reality. Just go along with the ride and don't ask too many questions or you'll spoil it!

It think there are 25 or 26 episodes in this series lillibel and there is another series starting in the States soon.  I dont think they were in the plane at all they are a figment of Pam Ewings over active dreams, watch and see thats what it will be.

They were 1000 miles off course when they started to crash, so the rescue blokes are looking in the wrong place!

just thought, they could run a programme simultaniously about the rescue crews and all the relies looking for them!

I know that they were a 1000 miles off course BUT surely someone at air traffic control was looking at their progress-how could anyone not know they had gone off course!I know I shoukd just watch it but it really bugs me!!Does anyone think I'm taking this a little too seriously!!
