I missed a bit of the series.... Gill Halfpenny had twins, one died... Yet today she had two babies. What did I miss?

One didn't die... Was in incubator for a while.

Both babies lived. There was concern over one of the twins who spent some time in an incubator.

Can anyone tell me why there was a connection between Roanna and her boyfriend's father, why did he give her the perfume? Did they know each other before?

They had a 'look' between them when he arrived home in episode 5 and saw her sitting on the sofa, it seemed obvious they knew each other. I'm assuming and hoping there will be a second series!
