Ipad Mini Rotation

Having lots of problems since upgrading to IOS 8, screen all over the place, freezing etc. now I find my main screen with all the logos and the screensaver behind it, will not rotate, it just stays in the narrower mode, however when I click on a logo the screen is the wider way around, in landscape type mode. Why wont my main screen turn around ? Hope I've explained OK. In settings, lock rotation is off, mute is on. It rotates when I am in a screen like AB, just not the main screen.

Did you update to iOS 8.0.2, smurf?

No I am worried I will get more problems ! Is iOS8.0.2 free from bugs and will it solvethe problems I have?

Yes I know of only 1 ipad Mini that a relative has, but and that was OK after iOS 8.0.2

If you want to wait for iOS 8.1 though, that's out later this month.

Thanks Jomlett, just looked online and there seem to be problems with this upgrade as well. Maybe I will wait for another upgrade to come out !

By the way I switched the iPad off and on again and the rotation is working now but AOL news all over the place, keeps opening on things I havent pressed, seems to have a mind of its own, and still keeps freezing. Hey ho.

Try a reboot...keep pressing the Power and Home buttons till the white apple appears.

Done that Jom, rotation OK now many thanks, however on aol.com news page, it is all,over the place .... And still freezing
