The Great British Bake Off Final - Choose Your Winner
44 Answers
We're finally here. This is the end of the long and cakey journey. Can you really believe it's been nine weeks since they first flourished their tarts and plumped up their pies.
But now we're at the end - and you must choose your champion for the final in which, I presume, they will bake to the death.
Or near enough anyway.
NOTICE TO GRUMPY PEOPLE: If you are posting here to complain about the Great British Bake Off being on again, how "boring" you find it, or to ask "what's the point" you will be suspended. This is fair warning. To be absolutely clear: we don't care what you think about GBBO :)

At the start of the competition I thought she was streets ahead of the rest, but as the weeks went on she had quite a few failures and was in danger of going on more than once occasion.
So I was a bit surprised to see that they choose her as the winner. Paul Hollywood stated that they are all on a level playing field in the final and all previous weeks are disregarded. This is a bit unfair as in a single baking episode anything can go wrong for anyone as happened to Richard in the final, but someone who has the ability to pull off fantastic bakes week after week, for me shows real talent. They said Nancy was consistently turning out good bakes, but surely the fact that Richard won star baker so many times showed much more consistency?
For me it should have been Richard followed by Luis and then Nancy.
