i mentioned the tv programme Alf in an earlier question.  anyone remember that show?  i loved it.  watched it with my dad :)  "Ha!  I kill me!"

Was that Alf as in Alien Life Form? An alien puppet living with a "normal" earth family............marvellous. Thanks for the memories.

I picked up a video in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago watched it and it still made me laugh. Remember when the electricity bill was so high and the Dad asked everyone if they knew why? It turned out that ALF kept the dryer on all night for company. After I watched it I listed it on ebay it had a bid straight away; so there must be quite a few of us who enjoyed it

My best/worst memory of Alf is the day I returned from hospital after a herna operation. I was lying on the couch watching the episode 'Hail to the Chief' in which he dreams he and Kate are rival presidential candidates. The television had no remote control.

I nearly - literally - split my sides laughing.
