I thought the ending was poor for the final five minutes.

The police were taken to where Rose was being kept somewhere in the woods. Stella, alone, went for a stroll through the woods as you would on a Sunday afternoon. No other police or sniffer dogs involved. After Rose was found and taken away by ambulance Spector got shot and Stella called out "get a paramedic". She must have known the paramedics had gone with Rose to hospital and there weren't any more. Hopefully Spector died.
